Jordan and I had a Mommy/Daughter day. We went to the mall and visited the "Build A Bear Workshop". I wasn't sure what to expect since I'd never been there before. Jordan had a bright pink bear picked out immediately, butI decided to show her some other options... just in case. We went from wanting the pink bear, to an orange cat, and then there it was... Hello Kitty. She immediatly wanted that one. From there we picked out a heart, which she kissed before putting inside her kitty. She got to help stuff the kitty as well... that was pretty cool. After Kitty was all sewn up, Jordan got to give her kitty an air bath (complete with bathtub and brushes). Of all the clothes offered, she picked out some Hello Kitty PJ's. We then got to do the birth certificate... Jordan is now the proud mother of "Kitty Kitty Bang Bang"!

Swim Lessons
Wow... it's been a really long time since I have posted. Well the kids completed their first session of swim lessons. It was great to see how much they have improved! Last summer, Jacob would not even get on the first step without arm floaties, a ring around his waist, and holding on to Mommy or Daddy. Now, he's going all the way down to the last step and crawling along the edge of the pool. He's not a big fan of dunking his head under, but we're getting there. Jordan will put her head under... she has less fear! She will stand on the side of the pool and jump in to Mommy or Daddy and completely submerge! She's going to be our little fish! I can't wait to spend the rest of the summer practicing the skills they have learned... it is so fun to watch their faces light up!

Another Trip to the Hospital
Well.. this time it was Jordan's turn. I got the call from the daycare that I needed to come and pick Jordan up... she was running 103. I called and got her in to see the doctor at 10:45. Judging by her breathing and the sounds from her lungs, the doctor gave her a breathing treatment in the office. We waited a bit then tested her oxygen. No improvements. So she tried a different breathing treatment... still no improvements. So then she sent us to Baylor Medical for blood work and chest xrays. We get those done and the doctor transfers a call to the waiting room where I am and says that I need to bring Jordan back in so we can talk. Turned out to be bronchial pneumonia and she wanted to admit her to the hospital overnight for observation and treatments. Her breathing sounded horrible so I was all for doing whatever needed. We got to Plano Presby and they have no rooms so we were going to have to stay in the ER. They hooked her up with an IV and fed her fluids. They gave her Tylenol for the fever and then an hour later Motrin to bring it all the way down. They put her on oxygen to keep her levels up. They also fed her antibiotics through her IV. By 8:00 she was perky and back to herself. They decided instead of making us stay, they would release us and do a followup visit the next morning. WOO HOO! (James said it was because we had an Aggie for an ER doctor... he knew how to take care of us!) Turned out that she also had an ear infection and a bacterial infection as well. Meds have started for the infections and we have albuterol for her breathing. She is doing great now... still coughing. But compared to yesterday... she looks and sounds WONDERFUL!!!

Potty Training
Well... we've begun the process of potty training the little one. It hadn't even crossed our minds yet because she's not quite 2. But they started sitting on the potty, and she has really taken to it. We go #1 on the potty all the time... still working on the #2 thing. I hear that usually takes a while. At least we've started! Lookout raise, here we come!!
